Vivian del Rio (Russia)

My name is Vivian del Rio. I was born in Moscow, but childhood I spent in Havana, Cuba, in a country where the sun is always shining and there are very bright colors. I think it deeply affected my entire life. My education is graphic artist. But Photography is a real passion for me. I started photography long ago, but professionally for the last 15 years, from the first exhibition. I shoot mostly "street photography".
I try to shoot often and a lot, in any weather, in winter and summer, while traveling and especially in my hometown — Moscow. I ‘m an author of three books: "Landscaping", "Unconscious painting (2 circulations), "Habana+Moscow". I often participate in exhibitions, as a personal and as a group. Several times I was curator. I was invited as a jury member at competitions and festivals. I give lectures where
I talk about my approach to street photography in Moscow, in other the cities of Russia and abroad. I have  exhibitions in other cities and countries: Berlin, Dusseldorf, Havana, Prague, etc. Some of my works are in private collections, collections of the state Russian Museum in Saint-Petersburg, the Kaluga Museum of fine arts and The multimedia Art Museum in Moscow (MAMM). I use social networks asadditional exhibition area, I have Facebook, Instagram, Live journal. I often give interviews, I was on television, my photos were used for course works. I was invited to make a lecture at different institutions, not only in
Moscow. I run courses for photographers, one of them is called "Color in photography". In the fall of 2016 I got a camera X-T2, which is perfect for street photography. I do not remember that I was shooting in the winter so much, like this year. Especially what is valuable for me, is how Fuji works with color, because I do mostly color photography, everybody knows me as a specialist in color.
