As a kid I was always daydreaming and making story’s but I am bad in drawing and writing. When I finished school a had a few jobs and when I was producing a band I got the question, could you make some photo’s, so I bought my first DSLR camera and that’s when the bug bit me. I got fascinated with photography and telling story with people and light.

As a musician myself I started shooting other musicians and also work with dancers. Now I work full time as a portrait and reportage photographer in the Netherlands. Beside photographing I also love to teach people how to get better with photography. And last few years I am also getting more in to video.

TESTIMONIAL

My first camera was a FujiFilm A330 point and shoot and after that more FujiFilm Point and shoots followed. But when I bought a DSLR it was another brand. But after the X100 got on the market I wanted it, bought it and loved it. It became my personal camera for when I didn’t want to use my fullframe heavy DSLR kit.

After that the X-Pro1, X-E1 and X-T1 followed. And really loved those camera’s for my personal work. Now with the XT-2 and GFX camera I sold all my dslr gear, I don’t need it anymore for studio work, video, reportage, etc. Everything I want to do I can with the FujiFilm X-system. And my back is loving it too! I can do so much with half the weight!

Also the colors of the film simulations and EVF make photography great again! I don’t like lot of post production, only when really needed, and now sometimes i can just send out the jpeg’s to my client!
