Christos Trigas (Greece)

I am a Santorini island (Greece) based portrait and wedding photographer. I also work on food and hotel photography.
I worked many years for interior design magazines in Greece, and for a Greek newspaper “Greek Herald” in Sydney Australia for two years (1999, 2000)

I owned a dark room for B&W prints, but digital years pushed me to stop work on it for profit.
Last year I graduated from National Kapodistrian University of Athens for a four months class for “art and perception”. It concerned how the human eye receives the light, and how it is decoded by the headman, of each man differently, and how this can be used in photographic art.

My career as a professional photographer started 32 years ago with a Nikon FM2. So, for many years I used to use Nikon cameras.

I met Fujifilm when X-T2 released. I bought X-T2 camera and two lenses, XF23mmF1.4 & XF35mmF1.4 and I felt in love. I sold everything I had from Nikon and now I own X-T2, X-T3, X-Pro2, and X100F cameras and XF18-55mmF2.8-4, XF10-24mmF4, XF23mmF1.4, XF35mmF1.4, XF56mmF1.2 APD, XF50-140mmF2.8 lenses.

Fujifilm cameras made me to walk around and make photos of everything. My early years passion for photography came back!! So happy!!! Now me and my son (he works with me) use only Fujifilm equipment, and we are very satisfied.
